Beautiful music sounds even better when listened to in stunning environs and the IIB Bank Music in Great Irish Houses gives you an opportunity to experience some of the world's leading musicians in some of Ireland's most historic buildings.
Now in its 37th year, this is Ireland's longest running chamber music festival and highlights this time include Camerata Ireland in the State Apartments, Dublin Castle; Pavel Haas Quartet in Kilruddery House (pictured) in Co Kildare and the winners of the 2005 Florence International Chamber Music Competition, the Navarra Quartet in Parliament Buildings, Stormont. The festival runs from 8-17 June. Call 01 664 2822 or visit www. musicgreatirish houses. com for more information.
