Newberry ripens in the midlands Newberry, Co Offaly: from 240,000
June Edwards

LOCATED on the Dublin side of Edenderry in Co Offaly, Newberry is a pretty scheme of threeand four-bed terraced and semidetached homes.

About 15 minutes' drive from Enfield, these homes are ideal for homehunters working in the midlands.

With a good mix of homes available, Newberry will appeal to both first-time buyers, and those looking for a four-bed family home.

The development is close to the town centre and local schools.

And as one of Ireland's fastestgrowing towns, Edenderry has seen substantial commercial and residential development in the last few years.

In fact, the new Edenderry Shopping Centre which is being anchored by Dunnes Stores, will have cinemas, a medical centre, leisure centre, retail units and other amenities.

Developed by the Newlyn Group and designed by architects from Fitzgerald Associates, Newberry has a quaint feel to it. The houses have a redbrick finish, pretty cottage-style doors and overhanging porches.

On offer are three types of home, including two styles of three-bed.

Three-bed townhouses, which have a floor area of 86sq m (928sq ft), have a hall, living room to the front of the house, kitchen cum dining room to the rear with patio doors to the garden, and three bedrooms, one en-suite and one bathroom upstairs.

The larger three-bed of 102sq m (1103sq ft) comes with a bright and spacious kitchen cum dining room to the front of the house, and a separate living room to the rear, three double bedrooms, one en-suite, and main bathroom upstairs.

The four-bed houses are very impressive, and include a study, utility room and spacious family room. There is also a walk in wardrobe in the main bedroom.
