Mark Farrelly, 35, is the father of three of Mulhall's four children and they were engaged when Farrelly met Mary Behan and moved in with her.

Mulhall, 32, was jailed for nine months last Friday for forcing her way into Mary Behan's house and causing damage to the sitting-room door while trying to kick it in.

The incident occurred on 13 May 2006 while Mulhall was on bail charged with the murder of her mother's partner, Farah Swaleh Noor.

Mary Behan had to leave her home in Drimnagh following the incident. She has alleged that Mulhall threatened to petrolbomb her house and kill her children.

Behan's 12-year-old is afraid to go upstairs alone and her 10-year-old still needs counselling.

Linda Mulhall's two sons were celebrating their Confirmation when their mother brought them to Farrelly's home at Benmadigan Road to see their father.

Mulhall knocked on the door looking for her former partner and Mary Behan told her to go away.

Mulhall replied, "Don't get smart with me, I'm Linda Mulhall." She was told to "f**k off" and forced her way into the house while Behan barricaded herself into the living room to protect her children.

Mulhall kicked the door off its hinges and shouted abuse but eventually left.

The garda� were called and she was later arrested. She told garda Niall Kenna that she knew Behan because "she had an affair with my kids' father" but claimed, "I wasn't even inside that bloody house."

Linda gave evidence in court and said, "I thought Mark would have been proud to see his sons on their Confirmation day because he wasn't paying child support or anything." She denied trespassing at Farrelly and Behan's council house and claimed, "I certainly didn't kick no door in. It was my kids' special day - I wasn't going to ruin it."

Linda Mulhall admitted there was bitterness between her and Behan and said, "He was my fianc� and Mary Behan went and had an affair with him. When I was pregnant he had an affair but I'm over that a long time."

Mark Farrelly is a builder's labourer with over 15 convictions. He met Mulhall in 1992 and they had their first child a year later. He had his affair in 1999 and there has been bad feeling between all parties since then.

The Sunday Tribune can reveal that Linda Mulhall and her sister Charlotte previously attacked Farrelly and Behan's home. On 27 March 2003 the sisters went to the house and abused Mary Behan while Charlotte threw cans at the house, breaking a window.

Charlotte Mulhall was charged with criminal damage and given the benefit of the Probation Act on 2 October 2005.

Linda was interviewed but never charged.

Linda Mulhall was convicted of the manslaughter of Farah Swaleh Noor in March 2005 and is appealing her 15-year sentence. Charlotte Mulhall, now 24, is appealing her life sentence for Noor's murder.
