BACK LIMERICK TO BEAT TIPPERARY (DRAW NO BET) IN THE MUNSTER SHC TODAY 13-8 Odds quoted are from Paddy Power After a lively 2006 league campaign, Limerick bounced into an opening round fixture with Tipperary as favourites, scored two early goals and prepared for lift-off. Instead, Eoin Kelly lit up his own legend with nine from play and Limerick limped out of the championship yet again. This season, underdog status sits better, and constitutes value for the punter. After losing to Limerick, it was Tipperary who had an encouraging league, but doubts due to injury and form will see Babs Keating send out a team with eight changes to that which lost narrowly to Waterford in the NHL quarter-final.
With home advantage, a more settled Limerick finally look capable of beating Tipp for the first time since 2001. Tight finishes have been a feature of this fixture so it's worth taking the insurance of draw no bet (money back if it finishes level) for a minimal difference in odds.
Elsewhere, Andrew O'Shaughnessy (right) has been impressive this year and 15-2 for "rst goal of the game may look very generous very quickly, while odds of close to evens that Eoin Kelly scores eight points or less are also tempting as Limerick will inevitably focus on cutting his supply lines.
BACK RAFAEL NADAL TO BEAT ROGER FEDERER 3-0 TODAY 13-5 Odds quoted are from Betfair It's never easy to bet against Roger Federer, but the way this year's French Open has turned out warrants it. Put simply, Rafael Nadal is playing the tennis of his life. And if he's not, then God help us all. Yet to drop a set this tournament and still unbeaten at Roland Garros, he probably deserves to be shorter than 1-2 for today's game. Obviously, Federer's no chump, but has expended a lot more perspiration getting to the final of a tournament he has yet to win. It took him over three hours to overcome a practically serve-less Nikolay Davydenko in three sets in his semi-final.
Afterwards, Nadal made short work of the altogether more impressive Novak Djokovic.
Federer was the one to end Nadal's winning run on this surface at Hamburg a few weeks ago, but the Spaniard was undoubtedly tired and has shown himself far more suited to Paris's faster clay. Having recently parted with his coach and suffered some unexpected defeats, there's too many doubts about Federer's state of mind for him to challenge his nemesis, and he may just have to take a beating.

BACK AUTHORIZED TO WIN THE EPSOM DERBY 8-5 Betfair He was as tight as evens ante-post, but on the day last week, doubts about the mount of Frankie Dettori (right) saw him drift to 8-5 on the exchanges. Halfway through the race he went even longer, hitting 11-5 at one stage before going odds-on two furlongs out. Almost 7 million was matched on Authorized on the day on Betfair, making him the most 'traded' horse ever on the exchanges, a title he took from Kauto Star in this year's Cheltenham Gold Cup.
