ANYONE who watches RTE's Showhouse will have seen interior designers Barry Keegan and Niamh Fitzgibbon battle it out last month with a budget of 70,000 each to fit out the showhouses at Roseberry Hill in Newbridge, Co Kildare.
But apart from these stylish show units, the overall Roseberry Hill scheme comprises nine different homes, from a two-bed townhouse to a three-storey, four-bed detached. The first phase of the scheme is sold out and first completions will be ready from this summer onwards.
Roseberry Hill is just outside Newbridge town, 10 minutes' walk from the train station.
Three-bed semis have an average floor area of 107sq m (1155sq ft), while four-beds are 156sq m (1680sq ft) and are laid out over three floors, with top floors given over to extra-large master bedrooms with en-suite. All three- and four-beds come with three bathrooms, while standard features in all units include timber windows, French doors to the garden, a choice of five kitchens, choice of five fireplaces and oak internal doors.
Price: from 330,000.
