In another life, we'd like to come back as Gwen Stefani.
She's got the career, the cutest of babies (you can keep husband Gavin Rossdale though), lipstick that never bleeds, bleached blonde hair that never shows roots, but most of all, she's got the moves. We best be getting along to the Champion Sports Dance Blitz then on Friday 29 in Tripod on Harcourt Street, Dublin 2.
Presented by Irish choreographer Jane Shortall, this is an evening of MTV dance given by . . . wait for it . . . Justin Timberlake's very own choreographer Marty Kudelka and three of his top dancers, Sky, Eddie and Nick, who have not only worked with Ms Stefani but with Pink, Missy Elliot and Lil' Kim as well.
The evening kicks off at 6pm and costs 100 for four classes on the day or 70 if you prepay before 28 June. To book, visit www. janeshortall. com or call 085 1476282. We have five pairs of double tickets to give away. To enter, send your name, address and contact details to hotshots@tribune. ie.
We don't realise how blessed we are to have such a relatively unspoilt and stunning coastline, and a marine safari in Kerry is offering you the chance to discover more about the underwater world and surrounding environs. Over the course of three days, you'll visit Skellig Michael, home to puffins and kittiwakes; the coral beach at Gleesk and Derrynane beach, one of Ireland's most beautiful and a special area of conservation. The safaris are running 14-16 July and 2123 July and the price is 260, which includes six hours tuition per day, conducted by marine biologist Dr Sarah Varian, minibus and boat trips.
