'Free implants' website slammed
Isabel Hayes

THE Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons (IAPS) has denounced a website that offers women free cosmetic surgery in exchange for revealing photos and videos.

Myfreeimplants. com invites women to earn the money for breast implants by posting photos and chatting to male benefactors online. The money is sent to the nearest surgeon registered to the site when the required 4,000 or so has been reached.

"This website is a disgrace, " said Dr Patricia Eadie of the IAPS. "These women are being encouraged to sell their bodies for favours. It is certainly not the right way to go about having surgery."

The website is in America but says it uses certified doctors all over the world. Two are in the UK.

"I am a very attractive woman but I have very small breasts and it really upsets me, " wrote Louise from Dublin on the site. "Please help me get my confidence back and I will send you over some private photos."
