Cork Marts has recently secured full planning permission for a new mart, which it plans to relocate from the subject site to Corrin.

The total site area comprises approximately 8.38 acres. One of the only significant land parcels remaining in the town, it is capable of accommodating a substantial commercial development that could potentially include a large new convenience store, retail units, cinema, leisure facilities, offices and apartments.

In recent years Fermoy has become a popular location for first-time buyers and has expanded substantially with a number of large residential schemes developed in its hinterland. This has further enhanced demand for retail and commercial services in the town.

The guide price for the property is in excess of EUR 2 million per acre and the site (which has the benefit of town centre/neighbourhood centre zoning) is being sold by private treaty.
