Charlton have confirmed that eight players have left The Valley after the club's relegation to the Championship, with striker JimmyFloyd Hasselbaink and defender Talal El Karkouri heading the list.
Hasselbaink, 35, scored just two Premiership goals for the Addicks after joining from Middlesbrough last summer while 30-year-old El Karkouri netted eight times during his three-year spell with the club.
Goalkeeper Thomas Myhre and striker Kevin Lisbie have also left the club. The Addicks sold star striker Darren Bent to Tottenham for �16.5million on Friday.
