I drive. . . a green Range Rover. I've had it for four years now. It's my baby and I love it.
If I had time to myself. . . I'd do more photography. I'm really into nature and portraits.
You wouldn't know it but I'm very good at. . .
respecting nature. That's probably why I'm developing such an interest in photography.
You wouldn't know it but I'm very bad at. . .
communicating. I find it hard to keep friends. It's probably because I work hard and my hours can be unsociable.
All the money goes on. . . cameras. I've bought loads of them, most of the normal, film cameras, but I have a digital one as well.
At night I dream of. . .
weird things. I often have space dreams.
Last night I dreamt of REM (left), because they were in town recently.
A book that changed me. . .
Bushmen of the Kalahari.
These people are incredible.
They are the only people who can cross the Kalahari desert by foot. It's magical.
Movie heaven. . . Films that make you think about them when you come out, like My Father's Son and In My Father's Den. Pulp Fiction (below) is one of my favourites.
When I was a child I wanted to be. . . a pilot. I did apply for it, but I would have had to sign up to the army, and that just wasn't for me.
My biggest regret. . . is not standing up for myself when I had a son around 28 years ago. It was a sensitive time and I felt I could have done more, but you can't let the past hold you down.
If I wasn't me, I'd be. . . I really don't know. I couldn't imagine a different life.
It's not fashionable but I like. . . I don't follow fashion. I just wear what's in the wardrobe until it wears out. Fashion changes too often anyway.
The soundtrack to my life. . .
would be made up of jazz. I love Caroline Henderson.
Then again I also like reggae.
I like Oprah music, simply because it means something. Kind of like REM.
