MY SECRET LIFE
PETER STRINGER Rugby international

If I have time to myself. . . I probably feel like I want to hang out with the lads.

You wouldn't know it, but I am very good at. . .scaring people.

You may not know it but I am very bad at. . .rollerblading. I fell at least 10 times the first time I tried it.

A book that changed me. . . a book called Mr Nice by Howard Marks.

Movie heaven. . . Scarface, Goodfellas and Toy Story (left).

When I was a child I wanted to be. . .taller. But I knew that wasn't going to happen.

All my money goes on. . . clothes and gadgets, I'm fairly addicted. I'm always looking for the next thing, the newest thing. I'm looking forward to the iPhone coming out, and I had the first iPod that came out. The square one that looked like a deck of cards and had the wheel that moved. It's an antique at this stage.

At night I dream of. . . all the times I beat up Denis Leamy.

My biggest regret. . . not being able to beat him up in real life.

If I wasn't me I'd like to be. . . Billy Connolly (below). He's got great hair.

It's not fashionable but I like. . . not drinking and smoking.

The soundtrack to my life. . . the first album I bought was Bon Jovi's Slippery When Wet.

The best invention ever. . . the mobile phone. I'd be lost without it.

Peter Stringer is the face of AdeZ, a fruit and soya drink
