Offaly Rowing Club won a race that spectators love and competitors hate in the men's junior quadruple sculls final at the Irish National Rowing Championship regatta held at the National Rowing Centre, Inniscarra Lake, Cork yesterday.
From start to the finish line Offaly RC, Carlow RC, Skibbereen RC and Commercial RC were level. Offaly won by just a bowball, from Carlow, just a bowball in front of Skibbereen, who were just a bowball in front of Commercial. NUI Galway won the men's senior fours coxed and coxless, plus the coxless pairs.
Skibbereen RC, Commercial RC, UCD Boat Club and Tribesmen RC are clubs having a good championships.
