VAN GEFFEN MAKES MOVE TO THE FRONT



The changing of the guard took place on the penultimate stage of the M Donnelly Junior Tour yesterday. Dutch junior Niek van Geffen stole the thunder from race leader Sam Webster who had led the event for the last three days. The dye was cast when Geffen and his teammate the South African Bennson Ruan forged ahead with 20km remaining after scaling the climb up to the Windy Gap' on the outskirts of Castlebar.
