Chris Pollier has been appointment General Manager of the Athlone Spring Hotel, a new 20 million 68 Bedroom hotel development which has just opened in Athlone. Chris, a native of France, possesses over 17 years experience in the hospitality business. He came to Ireland In 1996, following six years in London where he worked with the famous Thistle Group of hotels. In Ireland he has held positions in the Clarence Hotel, Fitzwilliam Hotel and Luttrellstown Castle.
Galway businessman Pearce Flannery has been appointed to the board of AUTOPOLIS, the international organisation which advises and assists the worlds major manufacturers, component suppliers and international government agencies on the future direction of the international automotive environment. He is the first Irish person to be appointed to this prestigious automotive advisory group.
