Posh and Becks may have made the move Stateside but they're already in danger of being usurped by some bigger stars. Tony Parker, a guard for NBA side San Antonio Spurs and captain of the French national team, has been doing a line with Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, despite a seven-year age difference. In June he was voted MVP in the NBA finals, which the Spurs won, and earlier this month he wed Longoria in Paris.
The couple first held a civil ceremony at the municipal town hall presided over by the Mayor of Paris, before following it up with a lavish Roman Catholic ceremony at the Eglise Saint-Germain l'Auxerrois, a church opposite the Louvre that used to serve French royals. The reception was held at Vaux-le-Vicomte, a 17th-century chateau 34 miles southeast of Paris.
Guests included cast members of Desperate Housewives, Saved by the Bell star Mario Lopez, Jessica Alba, Sheryl Crow, Parker's San Antonio Spurs teammates, Thierry Henry, Victoria Beckham, Michael Douglas and Catherine ZetaJones.
Lionel Richie and Longoria's close friend Jamie Foxx performed at the wedding. It was the second time in recent months that Richie filled the role as wedding singer. He recently sang at the big day of England captain John Terry. Unfortunately, Richie was somewhat put out at the ceaseless heckling he suffered at JT's nuptials. Here's hoping they were somewhat nicer to him in Paris.
