Tralee hotel reopens after major 8m facelift

AFTER undergoing an extensive 8m facelift, Benners Hotel in Tralee, Co Kerry, opened its doors last Wednesday to reveal its new modern makeover.

Owned and managed by businessmen Declan Ryan and John Magann, the revamped 45-bed hotel, located in the heart of Tralee with commanding views of the town and nearby Kerry mountains, now boasts a distinctly contemporary boutique hotel feel.

The look is decidedly decadent with lavish prints, bevelled mirrors and lush finishes adorning the lobby, reception and public areas. The bedrooms haven't escaped a makeover either and are now even more comfortable and inviting.

The Decan Bar at Benners has also been remodelled and now features three separate bars, a dance floor and courtyard. Work is also underway on a new night club at the hotel which is scheduled to open later this year.

Benners Hotel, Castle Street, Tralee, Co Kerry, 066712 1877.
