JURYS Ballsbridge Hotel and Towers, which is closing its doors as a hotel later this month, will see its entire contents go under the hammer on Friday 17 August. There will be a viewing of all contents in the hotel on 15 and 16 August from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
The event, which is likely to attract buyers from the hospitality industry looking for a bargain, as well as some curious onlookers, will include various items for sale from the hotel's bedrooms, banqueting facilities, kitchens, bar and restaurant furniture, soft furnishings and fittings, engineering equipment, reception and back-of-house items, conferencing facilities, boilers, generators and even elevators.
There will be a total of 2,300 lots in the sale, with items of particular note including the entire contents of the Dubliner bar, the furnishings and fittings of the grand ballroom, and the furnishings and contents of Raglans restaurant.
The auction will take place at Jurys hotel on Pembroke Road in Ballsbridge at 11am on Friday next.
