SUBARU is putting three cars and a new engine on show at Frankfurt Motor Show which are due to arrive here soon.
Star attractions include the European debut for the completely new Impreza range, a World Rally Car Concept, a new Tribeca luxury SUV, a totally new Justy supermini and the world's first horizontallyopposed 'boxer' turbodiesel engine. Diesel engines are new for Subaru and are due to be progressively installed in various models from spring next year.
The new Impreza fivedoor with new 1.5 and 2litre engines will go on sale here in September and expect prices to start at around 24,500. All models will have a high specification of equipment, including climate control air conditioning.
The Justy will also arrive in September and will be a big bonus for dealers who are looking forward to the new supermini.
The Tribeca will enter the showrooms in November for sale next year and the diesel engines will arrive in the Outback and Legacy cars next April.
The new Impreza has larger interior space thanks to a new platform with new multi-link and double-wishbone rear suspension while the new Justy 1.0 litre five-door offers superb fuel economy.
The New Tribeca has a 3.6l 'boxer' engine mated to a very responsive fivespeed automatic gearbox.
The turbo diesel is the world's first horizontallyopposed diesel built for outstanding refinement and low weight.
