THE four cooling towers at Calder Hall in Cumbria, England, the world's first fullscale nuclear powerstation, were demolished yesterday. Hundreds of residents gathered to watch as the 88m-high towers on the Sellafield site were exploded at 9am. A massive cloud of dust blew over the Irish Sea as they came down.
