In the run up to the release of their second EP, fantastically titled David Carradine is a Bounty Hunter Whose Robotic Arm Hates Your Crotch, Dublin band Fight Like Apes continue to whip up a frenzy. Over the next month, they'll be playing eight dates around the country starting next Saturday at the Basement Bar in Belfast. Miss them at your peril.

Book Ahead
The woman behind one of the best albums this year, MIA, plays the Marquee in the Phoenix Park in Dublin on 7 December. I'm not convinced by outdoor gigs in the winter but this should be a cracking show. Tickets are 44.20 and available from Ticketmaster.
