The body of Tipperary man Michael Dwyer has been released by Bolivian authorities for repatriation. The 24-year-old was killed in a Santa Cruz hotel on Thursday, in what police there say was a shoot-out with gunmen planning to assassinate President Evo Morales. European Affairs Minister Dick Roche says the Department of Foreign Affairs will continue efforts to establish the details of the circumstances surrounding his death. A senior diplomat is currently in Bolivia, for meetings with police chiefs and Government personnel.
