Six-times champion Steve Davis is out of this year's World Snooker Championship after losing his first-round clash against Neil Robertson last night. The 51-year-old made a record 29th appearance at the Crucible this year. However, he was comprehensively beaten by his Australian opponent, managing to score just 29 points in the second session before losing 10-2. Elsewhere, Stephen Lee is also out after a 10-4 defeat to Ryan Day. Stephen Maguire also opened up a 6-3 lead over Jamie Burnett ahead of the second session of their first-round clash this evening.
