A new row has erupted between the FIA and the Formula One Teams Association, resurrecting the threat of a breakaway series. The two sides were believed to have resolved their differences last month after the FIA dropped plans to introduce a budget cap for next season. However, a new dispute is now developing over the details of that agreement, with FOTA representatives walking out of talks on the matter yesterday. The FOTA teams say that, as a result of the earlier dispute, they were told they are not currently entered into the 2010 championship and therefore have no voting rights in relation to the technical and sporting regulations for the season.
