Officials in the Philippines say around 100 people have been killed in a series of landslides in the north of the country. The landslides happened yesterday in the mountainous Cordillera region. The area has been hit by two major storms in the past two weeks which dumped massive amounts of rain into the mountains. At least 300 other people had already died as a result of floods and landslides triggered by the storms. Officials say four major landslides happened yesterday, one of which almost buried an entire village.
