Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson has been charged with improper conduct by the English FA. The charge relates to Ferguson's criticism of Alan Wiley's fitness following United's 2-2 draw with Sunderland at Old Trafford on October 3rd. The Scot accused Wiley of not being fit enough "for a game of that standard". Ferguson has already apologised for the comments. He now has two weeks to respond to the FA charge and can request a personal hearing if he wishes.
