The Labour leader has said the latest poll on NAMA shows that there isn't public support for what the Government is doing. According to the poll just 26% of people are in favour of the National Assets Management Agency, which will buy up bad loans from the banks. It revealed 40% of people are against NAMA, while 34% have no opinion. Speaking in Limerick earlier the Taoiseach defended the Government's NAMA legislation saying it is the only effective answer to the banking crisis. However Labour's Eamon Gilmore said he felt the strategy is not good for the Irish public.
