The Richmond shopping centre in Derry has been put up for sale by administrators along with nine other properties owned by developer WG Mitchell. Administrators Ernst and Young, who were appointed to nearly 30 subsidiaries of WG Mitchell in early April, have instructed estate agents BTWSheills to sell all 10 properties individually.

"We have a number of enquiries. It is a tough market, there is no question of that, but there are buyers out there and the pricing makes it a very attractive proposition... We would expect to have a sale in the next few months," Keith Sheills of BTWSheills said.

The remaining nine properties on sale are located in Derry, Portadown and Antrim but are considered quite modest by comparison.
