DIRECTORS' pay at Sean Dunne's DCD Builders almost doubled in the year ending July 2008, according to newly filed accounts for the developer's main holding company.
Dunne and fellow directors Ross Connelly and Peter Halpenny shared €1.85m, up from €951,000. Halpenny resigned as a director of the company in December last year.
DCD posted a pre-tax loss of €253.6m after writing down the value of its land in Ballsbridge in Dublin.
A note to the accounts says "the directors have concluded that they have a reasonable expectation that the group will have adequate resources to continue in operation existence for the foreseeable future" and will have sufficient funds to continue as going concern.
