Kia Motors is celebrating a good 2009 sales performance and the start of the New Year, by offering a seven-year warranty on every new Kia vehicle sold in Europe. The Seven-Year Kia Warranty was first introduced on the European-made Kia cee'd in late 2006. Now a similar seven-year/150,000km warranty is being given from the Picanto small car to the range-topping Kia Sorento SUV.
The comprehensive new warranty is a 'bumper-to-bumper' full manufacturer's warranty and covers each vehicle for up to seven-years (whole car) plus a seven to twelve years anti-perforation corrosion warranty. A major benefit of the new warranty will be its transferability to subsequent owners of the vehicle.
Kia Motors Ireland MD, James Brooks, said that in the current climate Irish consumers are returning to the traditional values of customer service and Kia is the only manufacturer in Europe who will stand over their product for seven years. This will appeal to all Irish motorists, especially to scrappage customers who may be planning to hold on their new cars.
