Imelda May: donated a guitar

More than €80,000 has so far been raised from children's charity Make-A-Wish's annual Crystal Ball which was held in the Aviva Stadium on 18 September. The event was attended by more than 570 people and the money will be used to grant wishes to children living with a life-threatening medical condition all over Ireland.

The star turn of the night was provided by singer Imelda May, one of the hits of this year's Grammy awards.

May donated a signed collectors' Epiphone J200 acoustic guitar and rare memorabilia from the Jeff Beck and Imelda May tribute night to Les Paul, and announced a special online auction on Makeawish.ie which will boost the final takings from the event further.
