St Brigid's caused a major shock in yesterday evenings Dublin senior football championship by comfortably beating championship favourites St Oliver Plunkett's 1-9 to 0-5 at Parnell Park. An awful mistake after 15 minutes by Plunketts goalkeeper Eoin Somerville allowed Ken Darcy to score the only goal which set Blanchardstown men on their way to a place in next Sunday's decider.
