Northern Ireland are guaranteed a third medal at the Commonwealth Games after boxer Paddy Barnes qualified for the light-flyweight semi-finals. Olympic bronze medallist and European champion Barnes defeated Australia's Andrew Moloney 5-3 with a strong and sharp display in the quarter-finals yesterday in Delhi. Barnes will now box in the semi-finals tomorrow against India's Amandeep Singh. "I realise that there will be a strong Indian crowd support, but I've been in that position before, so I am not going to worry about it. I am going to go out there and get into the final," said Barnes.
