Best Buy of The Week - Not got deep enough pockets for YSL's Perfect Touch Foundation? Then let Bourjois save the day with its new Brush Foundation. A steal at €14, it comes in six shades and is a cinch to apply. Cassie Lomas, the company's celebrity makeup artist, advises that, "for a professional flawless finish, apply over the whole face using a to-and-fro motion to blend the product".

Must Have of the Week - It scooped a clutch of awards when it launched, and now it's in available in a convenient, handbag size. Trilogy's Everything Balm, €16.96, really is what it says it is – use it on lips, dry skin, cuticles, grazes and scratches for sweet-scented relief. Be Inspired - Very occasionallycelebrity scents
impress, and Christina Aguilera's new Inspire, from €24, is a case in point. Not smelling, as you might imagine, of hair extensions, leather chaps and red lipstick, the fragrance is a fairly grown-up floral. Strongly scented with tuberose, rose and gardenia, it's an evening scent for those hell bent on seduction. At department stores and pharmacies.
