IRISH milliner Philip Treacy is in mourning.
His pet Jack Russell, Mr Pig, died last week. And he confesses to being "devastated".
"He acted like he owned me and the shop was his, " Treacy said. "He led the most glamorous life . . . he was photographed by Bruce Weber and Mario Testino, he's been on catwalks with Naomi Campbell and Honor Fraser and he's got a fan club in Japan. Mrs Parker Bowles was his favourite client . . . she sent him Christmas cards ever year.
He had no idea he was a dog.
"We're burying him in the office's garden tomorrow."
The London Times reported during the week that one of Treacy's assistants had been in contact with their obituary department trying to arrange a mention in their columns for Mr Pig.
