Bohemians secured the Eircom Premier Division title last night with a 2-1 win away to former champions Drogheda United. A Jason Byrne brace helped the Gypsies to their first title since 2003. St. Pats had lost the title in any case with a 3-0 defeat at home to Cobh Ramblers. Davin O'Neill scored twice for Cobh along with one from Ross Gaynor. Finn Harps drew with Cork City, Bray defeated Derry 2-1 while Shamrock Rovers and UCD also drew. In the First Division - There were wins for Sporting Fingal and Wexford Youths. The Kildare and Monaghan game was postponed.
