An Irish man, who was left paralysed after a rugby accident in London, has lost his fight for life. 25-year-old Stuart Mangan from Cork was paralysed from the neck down after suffering major spinal injuries during the match at Hammersmith Park in April 2008. The former UCC student was taken to hospital on Thursday after contracting pneumonia. He died yesterday evening. Father PJ O' Driscoll from Fermoy parish said everyone in the area will be devastated by the news.
