The High Court has heard that all those who paid deposits for apartments at Milner Square in Santry in Dublin and Carrickmines Green in Dublin will be offered apartments at the current lower prices. The examiner appointed to Laragon Developments Ltd, which sold the apartments to 95 disgruntled prospective buyers, has told the court that those who take up an apartment will be given full credit for the deposits paid over. Meanwhile, a scheme has been put together by the examiner proposing to give them 1% of their deposits back if they want to pull out. Mr Justice Frank Clarke has been told that the scheme covers apartments which have either not been started or not completed yet. Yesterday, a number of depositors described the proposed 1% as an insult.
