It's looking increasingly unlikely that a deal between electricians and employers can be found. Both sides are still locked in talks at the Labour Relations Commission this evening in a bid to end the four-day strike. Pay remains a contentious issue, with unions asking for a pay rise and employers calling for a pay cut. The TEEU also says outside influences, not represented at the talks, are having a negative effect. Speaking a short time ago spokesman Owen Wills was not overly optimistic that a resolution could be found.
