Officials at Ireland's banks have agreed to carry out a complete review of their security systems in the wake of last Friday's €7.6m raid in Dublin. The officials gave the undertaking at talks this morning with senior Gardai. The talks were arranged after last Friday's robbery, during which a bank employee's girlfriend and her relatives were held hostage by an armed gang. He was ordered to go to work at the Bank of Ireland on College Green in Dublin city centre and steal the money before handing it over to the gang.
