The future of international cricket in Pakistan is being questioned this morning following a militant attack on the Sri Lankan national team. Seven members of the team were injured, none of them seriously, when a group of gunmen opened fire on their van near Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium. At least six police officers and one civilian were killed, but all of the attackers managed to escape. Pakistan is supposed to be co-hosting the World Cup in 2011, but that is now being reviewed. The country hadn't hosted a test match in more than a year before the visit of Sri Lanka.
