A major police operation is underway to find the Real IRA gunmen who shot dead two British soldiers outside an army barracks in Co Antrim on Saturday night. Two other soldiers and two pizza delivery men were also injured when at least two gunmen opened fire outside the barracks before fleeing in a waiting car. The Real IRA claimed responsibility for the attack last night in a phone call to the Sunday Tribune using a recognised code-word. It says the pizza men were deliberately targeted for collaborating with the British army. The shooting has been condemned by all political parties, as well as the Irish and British Governments. Sinn Fein has described it as "wrong and counter-productive" and says it was an attempt to derail the peace process. It says the dissidents behind the shooting have no support within the community and no strategy for achieving republican aims.
