Deal of the Week

Anglo Irish Bank has beaten the competition yet again. Its new demand deposit rate of 5.5% is streets ahead of most banks. Some of the stingier and more shameless ones pay as little as 0.025% on these accounts!

Tip of the Week

If you are getting graphic design done or are printing business cards, T-shirts, flyers or posters, save your money and go to Reads. Money Talks saved a small fortune there recently. Although the company only has branches in Dublin, it offers next day nationwide service. Check out reads.ie for more details.

Bad Value of the Week

A few days later, another taxi driver tried the same trick…on the exact same route. There's only one thing for it: it's time to become a very exacting, and vocal, back-seat navigator!
