Chanel I truly think Karl Lagerfeld is a genius. I love the sophistication of the clothes and shoes. The cosmetics and perfumes are beautiful to use. A Chanel 2-55 handbag is top of my wish list and when I get it I know I'll have it forever.
Long walks There are so many lovely places to go for a walk but mainly because of where I live I frequent Herbert Park or Killiney beach. I get all wrapped up in layers of clothes, grab my iPod and I head off for an hour most days. It's proper time for myself and I love it. A walk first thing in the morning gives me an enormous sense of accomplishment and sets me up for the day.
Time on my hands and my friends to spend it with. I have a great network of about eight girls and we are all really close. We're all pretty hard working and focused on our careers so our free time is far less than when we were students. But I love getting everyone together and cooking a really nice dinner, having a few glasses of wine and a proper catch up. That's a pretty perfect Saturday night!
My mum's cooking My mum is a fabulous cook and since I have moved out of home I really miss it all. There's nothing nicer then coming home to a home-cooked meal after a hard day. Little else seems to matter when you're back home eating shepherd's pie or having a lovely Sunday roast in a warm kitchen.
'Sex And The City' There is so much I love about this show – the fashion, the humour, the girls, and most of all New York. One Christmas my older brother gave me the box set and over those days between Christmas and new year's eve I watched nearly every single episode. It's such a witty, well-written show and the fashion throughout is fabulous. I have an obsession with saving up and going to New York which I will eventually do.
Screaming children I'm sure my kids will be terribly badly behaved but until then I am allowed to pass judgement. I hate when kids are running riot and doting parents are acting oblivious or even worse encouraging the little monsters!
Public transport in Dublin I lived in London for three years without a car, just using public transport, and never had any major problems. The Irish transport system is such that a car is actually a necessity and for both environmental and financial reasons that really annoys me.
Slow internet Another one of the little things that can drive me a bit mad.
People who walk really slow and take up the whole footpath. Self explanatory, but it drives me mad if I am rushing somewhere and someone is meandering across the path in front of me.
Being cold I very rarely suffer for fashion. I like being all warm, comfortable and cozy. Sometime on a Saturday night I'll see girls in mini skirts, bare legs and string tops hanging on Harcourt Street trying to get taxis in the lashing rain and the bitter cold and I just think, 'Why are you doing that?!'
The rain I walk everywhere, so if it's raining it's super annoying. I am sure it's all great for the plants, but on mornings when I wake up and it's lashing rain it makes it harder to be bright and positive. Ideally days like that would be spent under the duvet.
