She might have come runner-up but Model Agent finalist Amber Jean Rowan could soon be sharing in the winner's prize.

The Diary can reveal that despite coming second to Downpatrick girl Carrie Anne Burton in the hit RTé reality show, the Irish girls could soon be sharing the same model agency after Amber was approached by Independent Models, one of the world's best-known agencies.

However Amber (16) says she will not be able to go into modelling full time until she finishes school.

"I can choose the jobs to fit in with my schooling. I am in the city centre at school so it's handy for castings during the week. But I do want to finish my education," says the beauty.
