Conversations with children I like kids – I have goddaughters and I've lots of little kids in my life at the moment. It's that toddler age between three and seven. They just have this really simple view of the world and how it works and I think when you hang out with kids it reminds you of what being a kid was like and you think, 'oh, I'd really like to have that black and white view one day again'. And they ask a lot of questions. I just spend a lot of time laughing when I chat to my goddaughters and have a lot of fun.
My girlfriend's bathroom I share a house with a guy and there's never any toilet roll and he uses my razors. You go to my girlfriend's place and there's strawberry scrub and exfoliators and loofahs and all these products that I never get to use but when I go to her house I have a go of them all. It must be the metrosexual in me. I get off on that kind of stuff.
My third pint of Guinness The first one or two, you're just warming up. By the time you're on your third pint it's the sweetest one – usually.
The sound of my mum's laugh She's got this very odd, weird, 'embarrassing in public' kind of laugh but it's one of the nicest sounds I know and it's one of these completely contagious laughs. She might be laughing about something I wouldn't find funny at all but her laugh really makes me laugh.
Grafton Street at Christmas Because I lived abroad for years I always love this when I came back – shopping around Grafton Street, going for drinks and the lights. I just love the vibe of it.
Loathes
Top 100 'something' programmes Top 100 cartoons of all times or World Cup goals or one-hit wonders or whatever it is. You start watching them thinking 'Aw, this is just crap, I'm not going to watch this for very long' and then they lure you in with something kind of nostalgic and before you know it you're sitting there for two and a half hours, out of pure stubbornness to see what made number one. It's like TV smack, it should illegal but I'm very addicted to them.
Saying goodbye to good friends in airports I don't know, maybe it's because I've lived abroad a lot or a lot of my friends live abroad but I'm not very good at goodbyes. I hate it. I always run off – not that I'm going to cry or anything but I do find them sad.
Girls who wear big comfy underwear Or anything with 'Juicy' written across the bottom. I have a lot of fights with my girlfriend because she has a 'comfy' drawer and I always slag her and hide them. I just liking making fun of her over them. I don't know why she wears them.
Flying Ryanair I know they're good value but it just makes you feel so cheap and nasty.
Recession talk I am so bored of it. I went to LA recently for a few weeks and they're in a worse state than we are. Go down Hollywood Boulevard and in all the shops it's 80% off but no one is going on and on and on about it. In Ireland, it's all the drama. I do know it's hard for people but I can't bear listening to it any more.
