What is it with celebrity models these days? Take Lily Aldridge – pictured here fronting the new Accessorize campaign. Daughter of fashion photographer, Miles Aldridge, niece of model Saffron Aldridge and girlfriend of Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, she is certainly pretty gorgeous, but do we really need to know who she is for her to be important enough to sell something? In this day and age, it certainly seems so. Aldridge is fast becoming ubiquitous, having already starred in campaigns for everything from Levis to Victoria's Secret. We love her look though, and is it shallow of us to suddenly be turned onto Accessorize because she makes the brand look a little edgier than usual?
Coming to BT2 at the end of this month is the collaboration between hot designer name Peter Pilotto and renowned bag brand Kipling. We love the intergalactic look of this shopper, which will retail for about €195. Cosmic! Check www.bt2.ie for updates.
The latest Giles Deacon 'Gold' collection launches in New Look next week and we're in line for this silver body-con number with its bright orange oversized fringing. Kind of Cheryl Cole-Tweedy but in a good way, it's a frock-tastic €69 and in stores from 23 August.

* New into brown thomas this season is Helmut Lang womenswear, which is all about architectural shapes in tactile fabrics such as textured wools and blistered looking leather. Very '90s' minimalist and just the in-thing for that wear-forever capsule wardrobe. We very much like. See www.brownthomas.com for more.
