The Sunday Tribune has commissioned a global survey which we hope will reach approximately 365 million people in order to answer a question that has more complicated algorithms than the history of all research into the Higgs boson particle combined: Is There Anything George Hook Won't Promote?

We're well used to the presenter hawking Sky products, even though he works in state and commercial broadcasting, but perhaps this week he has pushed the boat out a little too far. Quite literally. That's right folks, all aboard a seven-day European cruise with Hooky while he gives seminars that include 'How to beat the recession' (get a job on a cruise ship?) and 'Irish rugby to the World Cup 2010' (inaccurately predicting every single score?). This "unmissable opportunity" will cost you a measly €1,169 which may indicate that you are taking one very large step back from beating the recession, but hopefully that will be cancelled out by Hook's budgeting tips.

Apart from the seminars, you will also be able to avail of Hook's "usual craic and repartee" which we presume is included in the price, although you never know. Of course, there is one product that Hook will continue to dedicate most of his time to pushing, promoting, and trying to net publicity for: himself.
