What did you have for breakfast today?
I'm hungover and as a punishment have to mind my youngest two kids, so I have not eaten yet, but have downed two Beroccas.
If you could be anywhere right now, where would it be?
Bed.
What is your comfort food?
Go Sushi. It's incredibly good and it's the only kind of restaurant you can go to own your own and eat a huge meal and not feel conspicuous.
What website do you look at most?
BBC Sport website is probably the best sport site out there, although I have noticed they don't write about the competitions ITV Sport have the contracts for.
How often do you exercise?
If I'm training for something like a triathlon, four times a week.
What do you watch on TV?
Sport mainly. X Factor was my guilty pleasure – but my real love is 30 Rock and Friday Night Lights.
What Irish person do you most admire?
My wife. I can be a nightmare.
What Irish person do you least admire?
How long have you got? Just pick a politician or an original Anglo board member.
What do you most like about yourself?
My consistent self-loathing.
What is your favourite cinema?
Clapham Picture House in London, with a selection of fine wines you can drink in your seat.
What was the last text you sent?
To my wife asking when she's coming home – this baby-crying/hangover combo is not working for me.
What radio station do you listen to?
I like to trawl a bit. Today FM, a bit of RTé. Off the Ball on Newstalk is the best show on radio. A lot of BBC 5 Live. On Sundays it's Buenos Aires Radio on the net: it's very cool, and allows me to drift back to one of my favourite places on the planet.
Are you good with credit cards?
Oh, very good. I use them all the time, lots of debt – is that what you meant?
What was your best holiday?
France last summer. One chateau, three families with loads of kids and heaps of food – it was so simple and relaxed.
How long does it take you to get ready?
Seconds.
What word or phrase do you overuse?
Faaaaaaaaantastic!
What is your biggest regret?
Not buying more apartments in unreachable parts of Ireland, Spain and Bulgaria. I believe they are doing very well.
What can you not live without?
Blood and all my major organs.
How punctual are you?
Very punctual in work, simply awful in life.
Who was your first crush?
My neighbour, but we decided we could never marry as I was Catholic and she was Protestant. A tough decision for a couple of nine-year-olds.
When did you last use public transport?
I use the London tube a lot.
What do you worry about?
Everything. I never stop worrying. It's a curse. Now I'm worried about admitting to that.

Everything with everyone I love.
What time do you go to bed at?
Always before 11, sometimes before nine. I have four kids.
