Divinely cute, this little pot of mousse goes on easily and we love the fact that it was so cheap but didn't like its lack of staying power, nor its glitter. Perfect for teens and good to throw into your bag.

Giorgio Armani Blushing Fabric, €35

We had high hopes for this but ultimately it disappointed. It sat on the skin and looked painted on. We also didn't like having to apply it with our fingers. It will last you forever but at €35 it would want to.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Colour Cheek Tint, €26

The hands-down winner. We love the natural, sun kissed sheer tint it gave the skin. It's the perfect handbag size, blends evenly and lasts all day.

No 7 Cheek Tint Blush, €12.25

Has a pleasing creamy texture and gives a nice dewy finish but we were not impressed with its lasting quality – reapplication throughout the day will be necessary. It's quite matte so a good daytime blusher.

Benefit Sheer Cream Blush, €25

You only need a tiny amount of this to get a healthy, naturally flushed look. It blends very well with the skin and dries to a silky finish but the tube application is a bit messy and it's hard to guesstimate how much you need.
