This week, I take a back seat and let four members of Ireland's growing wine blog community give their thoughts on wines they've been drinking. I've tried all four wines but I'll let the four wine bloggers take it from here.
A lovely Italian Merlot, where the juiciness of the varietal are held in check by the cool climate. No Chilean Merlot jaminess here but rather cherry, plums and a hint of vanilla from 10 months in French oak.

Dark in colour, displaying classic elegant aromas of strawberry, raspberry and cherry. Was a match for an incredibly spicy Thai dish. A definite man's rosé!

With nice plummy fruit, delicate tannins and a long finish, this was a very well-balanced wine, If you are having a steak or like your Malbecs then you will not go wrong with this.
